This was one of my first Painted Ponies (I have four) I love them all but the textures and colors
on this one makes it special. The colors are vibrant and the story behind it is both beautiful
and sad. Having lost much in my life these ponies
bring me some joy on a daily basis.

This is one pony EVERYONE should have in there LIFE. You can feel his gaze on you, healing you from inside. To see this pony you have to smile,- who can be sad when you have a smile on your face.

Blue Medicine is definitely what his name implies, a healing pony. His artist has accomplished what I strive to do, transferred her healing qualities thru a work of art to reach out to many people. This pony reaches out and silently speaks to your heart!

When I read about the story behind this pony I just had to have him. For those of you who don't know it here is the abridged version. When the Indians were on the Trail of Tears a lot of them died of starvation. There was this pony who had died along the way. However, the children insisted that the pony was still there. Only the childen saw him. The pony was an inspiration to the children and instrumental in their survival. That is why there are hand prints all over the pony. It brought tears to my eyes and telling the story still does that to me. This is a wonderful inspiration to anyone who is going through difficult times. A must have for anyone's collection.
